The event was a tremendous success, with 45 spirited people dancing the Merengue and enjoying traditional Dominican holiday fare. Six lucky raffle contestants walked away with rum cake and gingerbread prizes, but the abundant joy and fellowship made winners of everyone. There were testimonials from last year’s missionaries, who spoke with passion about the needs in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. And the ACC response to date has been outstanding, with gross proceeds topping $1000.00.

The FIESTA organizers are deeply grateful to Barbara North and to everyone who contributed to the night’s success. With the joint efforts of missionaries, volunteers and donors, ACC is bringing medicine, construction labor and the love of Christ destitute people in and around La Romana. Blessings on all of you.
