Confirmation is an important step in each student’s Christian walk as he or she has the opportunity to confirm what has taken place at his/her baptism. Our ministers and dedicated church members will lead classes that will teach the Confirmand the basic beliefs of our church.

For the upcoming year, confirmation will be offered for both 8th and 9th graders. This will be a transition year for the program here at ACC. After this transition year, confirmation will be offered to 8th graders.

Please note that there will be a confirmation potluck dinner and orientation on Monday, September 14th at 6:00PM in Hartman Hall. At the orientation, Holgie Choi and Andy Armstrong will review the expectations for members of the class, which include: attending Monday evening meetings, bringing a Bible to class; attending Sunday morning worship, field trips, and the confirmation retreat (October 16-17th); and identifying a willing mentor from our congregation to see the Confirmand through the process. Students will be confirmed on Palm Sunday, March 28th, 2010.

The first confirmation class is on Monday September 21st. The 8th grade class will meet in classroom GO2 from 6:30-7:30PM. The 9th grade class will meet in the same room from 7:30-8:30PM.
