"Cookies 'n' Carols" involves delivering hundreds of plates of cookies, baked and assembled by the youth and accompanied by carols to friends, neighbors, and those in need in our community. Members of the congregation generously support this endeavor by purchasing plates and sending these Christmas greetings to their friends and neighbors.


Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, January 29 :There will be 2 sittings, one at 5:00 pm and one at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be for sale this coming Sunday, during coffee hour after both services. The spaghetti sauce is homemade by our famous spaghetti chef, Allen Warner. You will be able to smell the sauce cooking all day on the Jan 29! (yum).  After dinner there will be the opportunity to bid on services provided by our SHYF youth for babysitting, dog walking and yard work hours, and, as always, the chance to bid on a wide range of cakes.  Buy your tickets early so we can plan the sittings, and join us for good food, good conversation and the fun of a good natured auction.  See you there !

Youth Sunday has the Senior High youth filling the sanctuary on a Sunday morning! The youth, in conjunction with a minister and the advisors, plan, write, and lead both Sunday services. The skits used during the Children’s Moment produce much laughter, and the special music brings a distinctly youthful flavor to Sunday worship. The high points of the services are the meditations written and delivered by the youth themselves.
