A Cherished ACC Tradition

On Sunday, June 15, we will celebrate how fortunate we are at ACC to have so many excellent and generous musicians, who give of their time and talent to enhance our music program.

There will be three anthems from our choir, under the direction of their director, Ellie Armsby. One of the anthems will be a combined anthem with the Bell Choir and the Children’s Choir. There will be a duet by Rebecca Cazabon and Rachael Gerhard; a flute piece by Barbara Skaggs; a guitar piece played and arranged by Ben Stimac; and a favorite organ piece of mine by Buxtehude (no wonder Bach walked 200 miles to hear him play, stayed too long, and was almost fired from his church job!). We are so grateful to Bell Choir directors Andrea Dow and Nancy Barnes and to Children’s Choir director Amy Stimac. We will sing “When in Our Music God Is Glorified,” as God certainly will be on that day.
