The Social Justice Task Force Invites You to a Zoom-based Book Study

Join us as we journey with Javier Zamora through his migration story, reflecting on faith, justice, and compassion. Together, we’ll consider what it means to ‘welcome the stranger’ (Matthew 25:35) and explore our call to advocacy and action.

The book study will be held over four evenings via Zoom starting on Monday, October 6th.

Schedule

Monday, October 6, 7-8 PM

Session 1: Introduction & Setting the Stage

 ● Reading: Prologue – Part 2 (up to p. 86, “El Desierto”)

Monday, October 13, 7-8 PM

Session 2: The Journey Begins

● Reading: Part 2 – Part 3 (pp. 87–192, through “El Otro Lado”)

Monday, October 20, 7-8 PM

Session 3: Crossing & Survival

● Reading: Part 3 – Part 4 (pp. 193–304)

Monday, October 27, 7-8 PM
