Skills for Disagreeing Better

Updated: Mar 5

A Braver Angels Presentation - April 15th at 7:00pm

In these polarized times, many of us feel divided from friends, neighbors, and even family members. Political disagreements have grown so loud that we often stop hearing one another's hearts.

Skills for Disagreeing Better is not about changing minds. It's about learning how to listen with care, speak with honesty, and stay in relationship across our differences. Together, we'll practice reaching across divides with humility and respect, seeking greater understanding of where we differ and where we share common ground.

You'll gain:

  • Greater understanding of the values and concerns of those who see things differently

  • Skills for listening so others feel truly heard

  • Tools for sharing your perspective in ways that invite connection, even amid disagreement

This workshop is a free event brought to you by Braver Angels as part of our mission to depolarize America. Braver Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We invite you to consider a gift to Braver Angels; all donations are tax deductible. Your support will allow us to offer more workshops and debates with the ultimate goal of uniting America.
