Join Us on May 5th to Help Combat Worldwide Hunger
Are you passionate about making a difference in the fight against world hunger? Acton Congregational Church is teaming up with Rise Against Hunger, an international nonprofit dedicated to ending global hunger, to host a meal packing event on May 5, 2024.

Rise Against Hunger works to combat hunger worldwide, utilizing their Four Pathways Model to address immediate needs while creating lasting impacts within communities. Through this partnership, Acton Congregational Church will focus on meeting the immediate need for food by packing shelf-stable meals.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to join us for a fun-filled, high-energy experience. Expect to be part of an all-hands-on-deck effort, with tasks suitable for everyone.
Join us in Hartman Hall on May 5th after Worship service.

A global movement with a goal to end hunger worldwide, Rise Against Hunger finds remote, last-mile communities which are located within serious and high-risk areas according to the Global Hunger Index. They work with local leaders and commit to empowering the communities that they assist, finding local strengths and resources to provide a solution for these groups to combat food insecurity with dignity and resilience.
