Adult Education

At Acton Congregational Church, we offer learning opportunities that reflect our commitment to deepen our faith, to explore new ways to understand ancient Biblical passages and to inspire our members and friends to live faithfully as disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to draw members and friends, neighbors and seekers together to create a space where we can study, learn, discuss and envision new ways to connect our faith with our lives and the real world.

Short-term and ongoing classes on Sunday mornings and weeknights make it easy for church members and the larger community to take advantage of the wealth of programs and events we offer.

Join us for these sacred times of learning, growing, imagining and living into the Christian faith.

Walk and Wonder

Walk 'n Wonder is a way to "set your day" by "walking your prayer."

This year wildflowers started blooming and birds chirping earlier than the last year. Starting on Thursday, April 6, we’ll gather at 9:00 am to immerse ourselves into the beginning of the spring.

The gathering time will be changed again to 8:30 am on May 4. The meeting location will be emailed to those on the mailing list on Wednesday. If you have a question or want to be on the mailing list, please email ACCwalknwonder@gmail.com.

We meander on various trails: through a section of Walden Woods along the Sudbury River in Concord; through the Nagog Woods Conservation lands; along paths of Nashoba Conservation, and through our beloved Acton Arboretum. We are blessed in this area with an abundance of natural riches in the accessible landscapes. This is a seasonal activity and weather dependent.

All are welcome. Bring a favorite prayer.

Faith and Life Book Studies

The times, topics, and books change regularly. You can keep up to date by checking the church newsletter or looking for updates on the home page of the website.
